Web Resume:Diannah Morgan

Diannah Morgan has been using a modem to access other computers since 1987. Until the internet was really available to most people she spent evenings contacting dial-up Bulitenboard Servers(BBS). When she got a job at Nucleus International in 1986 she learned her trade as a C Programer and Database design. In 1990 when they had layoffs she found her next job on one of these BBS's at AND Communications. while there one of her co-workers introduced her to the Internet. In 1996 she created her first web site. She new immediately that the internet was the future.

With a strong background in database structure and interface design, she continues to create websites and act as a webmanager and technical consultant. She works in Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, Illustrator, Flash and more to create graphics and animations and uses Dreamweaver to manager her website development.

She's also a video editor and visual effects artist. Since 1996 she was convinced that the internet was a multimedia platform but her declarations fell on deaf ears where she was working. In 1999 she left to form her own company with, long time friend Bob Gould, called FI Studio: Video to the Web.
She became an expert Final Cut Pro Editor and began to branch out into editing and visual effects, but never lost site of how the internet could serve these creations.

Diannah is so ethusiastic about technology that she's always willing to enlighten. She spends a great deal of her time teaching her clients and often gets more of a kick out of watching someone exceed their own expectations when they learn how to design a website or edit a video for themselves.

NPA

NPA: NpAlliance.org

This is a CMS site supported by Expression Engine(EE) and Democracy in Action(DIA).

I inherited it and act as webmaster and technical consultant. It's maintained by several of the Doctors on the Board of the NPA through EE and DIA. I create new templates and help them out of jams when they get into them.

This is an eating disorder recovery facility. Right now the site is mostly a brochure online.

I've recently met with Dean and discussed CMS support for parts of the site, blogs, password protected staff areas and patient accounts.

Penny Colman: Pennycolman.com

I inherited this site from a colleague who was over booked. Penny is a author and has a the content for a potentially great site. Her publisher is about to release her next book and we are in discussion regarding redesigns to help market it.

Acting Intuitive

Redesigning site and expanding functionality to include content management support.

We need to set him up with a dynamic resume module so he can update his resume after every show he's in.

Command Digital LA

David Harris: CommandDigitalLA.com

David had me put up this Biz card site until he could provide content. He's an AVID editor and sometimes I work for him as a Final Cut Pro editor. It all depends on what needs to be done.

Final Cut Pro Editing

My Page: FCPeditor.com

This is my page. I provide news and clips from my work as a video editor and motion graphic artist. Occasionally I mention my webmaster work here but not to often as I try to keep things separate.

However, I decided to add my web resume as it seems that I'm getting more and more web work. It's mostlly been word of mouth referal so I must be doing something right.

Labor for Single Payer

Leonard Potash: LaborForSinglePayer.com

I designed and maintain this site. It's an activist site for the Labor Task Force for Universal Healthcare.
It gets updated monthly. We could have set this up to be dynamic but the budget wasn't there for it and the updates don't take me but an hour or so.

Live Life the Movie

Jerri Sher: LiveLifetheMovie.com

I inherited this site when it was almost complete. The previous web developer wasn't responding to Jerri's direction in a satisfactory manner. We worked together and finished it. I now make changes when needed, but not too often.

Sandra Orwig: RayPriceFanClub.net

My mother is a big Ray Price fan and when she joined the fan club she asked me to develop a website for it. For a while she maintained the site herself until lit got to be too much for her. I'm now back as webmaster and I'm slowly bringing the design up to date.

Most of the activity on the site is at the Forum level. We may introduce a Blog for the fan club president in the next few months.

Previous Clients:

MakeupnMorebySonia.com

This was a fun design, both technically and creatively. The site is supported by a mySQL database to update the pictures. It uses two templates one for thumbnails and one for full
displays.

Chris Gerolmo: OverThere.tv

Chris Gerolmo asked me to do a website for him and his TV series Over*There. Chris also played in a band and wrote several songs and released a DVD "Who's Your Daddy."

Stan Becker: BillyRandom.com

A friend of mine, Stan, aka Billy Random, asked me to put together a site for his music. Since then he's moved on to another state but his website is still up, although it's changed a bit.

Cinewomen.org I took over as webmaster of the Cinewomen.org site for about a year, during that time I debugged templates, and updated the site adding content and even movie reviews.
Megadyne: 2000 Sydney Olympics I was in charge of the development of a section of the site that housed a trip planner application that used ESRI mapping applications. Half of the Team was in Sydney Australia.
The site was built on the .NET platform. I personally coded in ASP, Javascript, HTML, SQL, VBScript and even debugged some old PL1 code. The site was supported by three database
applications, one a proprietary Unix database, the others an Oracle Database and an small Access Module.
Continental Datagraphics: Spec2000 Aircraft parts tracking for Civilian aircraft maintenance, online.
This was an amazing application. I was part of a team that spanned several states. We were using XML before is was supported the way it is now. The application combined DHMTL, Java, Javascript, C++/ATL, Oracle SQL, and some languages I've forgotten. It was a heavily data-centric application with
and online interface.
